Long ago there was peace and harmony and fairies and humans lived alongside each other. But along came the Queen of the Night who caused a divide between humans and fairies. Homes were lost and lives destroyed. But the legend says that a girl will come dressed in Red to bring peace and unity back to the land. Little Red is that girl. She has been brought up by her father - her mother (a fairy) presumed dead. The father took his daughter and her grandmother into hiding away from the fairies and for many years they wandered, never knowing where they would end up and never knowing what had happened to the girl’s mother, but always knowing that the Queen of the Night would be searching for them. The girl grew up kind. There was a prophecy that on her 18th birthday she will find that she has fairy powers and the evil Queen’s reign will end. The story continues with the Queen and her sidekick the Wolf, finding Red and her grandmother. Will evil be defeated (of course it is!)
